A friend of mine gave a little tip on good vegetarian tinned soups that were on offer at Sainsbury's, 3 for £1. When I went shopping I was wowed by the flavours that Sainsbury's 'Be Good To Yourself' tinned soup range had to offer, all of which are vegetarian and some of which are vegan. At 45p a tin even when then the offer isn't on, they are good value and are also low in calories.
My favourite flavour is the
Tomato and Three Bean Soup which is lightly spiced. They also stock
Spicy Tomato and Lentil(vegan),
Sweet Potato and Chickpea,
Spinach and Chickpea(vegan) and
Parsnip, Butternut Squash and Ginger.
Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner and absolutely delicious!
