Quorn Chili

Another meal with my sister last night and I decided to make a quorn chili, we had it with rice and marinated organic cucumber salad.
To make the chili I fried onions, mushrooms and lazy garlic in a pan with some oil. I then added quorn mince, a tin of beans in spicy tomato sauce and a little water. To flavour the chili I added: tomato puree, chilli powder, hot pepper sauce, salt, pepper and sugar. I then let it simmer down 20 minutes.

For cucumber salad I finely sliced cucumber, put it in a bowl and salted it. Then I added hot water, vinegar and sugar into a cup mixed and poured over the cucumber and set aside. It is best to leave it for as long as possible, but at least 20-30 minutes.
