Happy Halloween! (For Yesterday!!)
I love Halloween even though it isn't hugely celebrated in the UK. As a child, me and my sister always used to dress up and go Trick or Treat-ing with my Mum. This year I celebrated with my friend L in York.
I carved a pumpkin on Saturday when RB was around. I didn't want a scary looking lantern, I think he looks rather sweet.
I also made some spiced ghost cookies which I then iced. Unfortuantely Asda delivered the wrong icing kit and they had to have glittery eyes and mouths instead of black, which would have been more Halloweeny.
I then went over to L's flat with my goodys and also some dress up stuff so that we could get dressed up and go out in York for Halloween!!
What did you do for Halloween?

Aww! I really love Halloween. I had to work till 12am but happily saw some people dressed up as Zombies.. or drunks walking home from a party. It's hard to tell at that hour of the night. I love the pumpkin! And your cookies turned out fantastic :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! York was a huge fancy dress mess lol xx
ReplyDeleteHi Zoe,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Patrick and I am from Taiwan. I am running a website, VegTomato, http://www.vegtomato.org/, to advocate veganism/vegetarianism among Chinese community, which is a non-profit website without any commercial adv.
Just found one of your articles, “Ten ways to tell your co-workers you’re vegan”, a wonderful idea for the vegan people to handle the vegan issues at the office. I am wondering if I can have your permission to translate it into Chinese and post in my website? I will link back and credit it to you.
Best,
Patrick
Hi Patrick,
ReplyDeleteI am completely fine with you doing this as long as you properly credit it back to me and Vegan Mainstream. Let me know when you've done this.
Thanks
Zoe
