Carbooting (decluttering my life)

I have posted before about one of my favourite spots (Tansley carboot sale on a Sunday morning) and I have also posted about the need for me to declutter my life. Although I have been doing some bits of decluttering, like ebaying things, taking things to the charity shop, etc. I had not had a bootsale. However these two things came together this weekend and I think I have finally got my incredible amounts of stuff into a manageable amount and also had a pretty good day selling things to make some additional money to travel with.

I made a grand amount of around £40 and already spent it on a Sleeping Sack, a Flask and a Travel Towel, all practical things for travelling! I usually love buying impractical things, and splurging some money, I really feel like I am turning a new page in my life!

  1. The best money spent (in my opinion) is on travelling. You will not regret it!

  3. Great job! I love car boot sales too and am in the process of gathering things up for one myself. It feels so good to turn your clutter into cash doesn't it :O) And well done on buying sensible things with your profits, you must feel like you're one step closer to travelling now.
