Ethical Brand: Reko

Reko's Ethical Credential: all products are handmade in the UK (so sweatshop free!)

Reko are a very cute UK based company who make the cutest dresses, in loads of different fabrics, at very very affordable prices! They also do a great offer where you can get sent two surprise dresses for £30.

I own this Reko dress, which is an 'Annie' style in a small black and white floral print. I got this one from Topshop in Oxford Streets Basement where they have a good variety of dresses and they have even more available on the website. I am hoping to get an 'Annie Ruffle' (above left) for my birthday party in pink and black, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

  1. These are so cute! I usually try to buy vintage or secondhand clothing to avoid the possibility of purchasing items made in sweatshops or by workers treated in an unethical manner. It's great to know that there are companies out there pledging to create great clothes at a good price without exploiting their laborers. Thanks for sharing!

  2. These are so cute. I especially love the one you're wearing. I'll have to check out if they ship to Australia.

  3. I love the idea of getting two surprise dresses! Although I would be dying of excitement from the moment I placed the order until I tore open the package, but that just makes the idea even better :) The prints are adorable, and it's even better that they're all made in the UK. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Reko is a gem, when I took up the challenge of going all ethical, I thought it'd be really difficult. For somethings it's slightly difficult, but mainly it's just great because you get to find new brands. More posts like this about great ethical brands, lucky for me I'm making sure I try the clothes out from each one before I post!x

  5. the dress is so cute! :)
