Girls Who Like To Gorge Hangover Recipe

The other day I stumbled across Girls Who Like to Gorge, a wonderful foody blog written by girls at university. They have some wonderful features, including reviewing foody films and they also have delicious recipes! I wish they were at my university! I would be round for dinner all the time.

I really liked the look of their Light Hangover Breakfast and decided to cook it for RB and I when I was home over Easter and the bank holiday, but with a few of my own creative touches.

The end result...

Instead of using just watercress, I used a mixture of watercress, spinach and rocket, I dressed it in a similar way to the Girls Who Like to Gorge version. As you can quite obviously see I have added some yummy toasted broiche, because I like a good dose of carbs with my brunch. I also added a little blasamic, a sprinkling of sugar and black pepper to my mushrooms and tomatoes.

The end picture above is my fairly nicely presented regular persons sized portion. However, RB, who has the stature of a basketball player, decided that this wasn't enough and decided to plate himself up this monster sized portion of brunch, below. So depending on your hunger, you could go for either one!
